The Assignment
Headquartered in Warrendale, Pennsylvania, Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) serves the North American power systems, rail transportation, and large visual display markets with electrical and electronic products, systems and services. As a part of a brand revitalization initiative, MEPPI conducted a market research study that revealed that MEPPI’s reputation in the industry was strong, with high levels of trust, but their total product and technology offerings were not as well known as they would like. MEPPI wanted to create a video that would present their new brand positioning as well as introduce key target groups to their people, products and engineering technologies that are “Powered by Purpose”.
The Approach
Hyperion Studios worked with MEPPI’s marketing staff to create a video that would introduce viewers to the depth and breadth of MEPPI’s people, products and engineering solutions. We suggested using employees as the “talent” in the video - showcasing unique accomplishments and achievements from various MEPPI divisions. We shot drone footage, interviews with more than 20-employees and developed products animation sequences to offer a more-complete picture of the company.
