The Assignment
Emergency communication centers (911 Centers) are faced with an increasing volume of 9-1-1 calls, which require human interaction to obtain the information necessary to send the right help to the right location. While priority must be given to answering 9-1-1 emergency calls, ECC’s also must answer their non-emergency lines.
Created through a partnership between APCO and The Monitoring Association, ASAP is the only industry-created digital alarm service which is helping Emergency Communication Centers nationwide reduce call times and expedite workflows to save valuable time and enhance outcomes.
Mission Critical Partners, (a Hyperion Studios’ client) a public-safety and technology integration consultancy, was hired to increase adoption and integration of the ASAP service within U.S. 9-1-1 centers, brought us in on the project.
The Approach
Hyperion Studios developed a series of videos that included animation to communicate the tremendous benefits of adopting the ASAP by ECC’s. In addition, we interviewed ECC leaders who shared success stories with the ASAP service within their 9-1-1 centers.
